Join Pro Prep Cleaning – Independent Contractor (Prince George's County)

Pro Prep Cleaning is seeking reliable and detail-oriented cleaners to join our contractor team in Prince George's Country. We provide a variety of services, including:

​

• Standard residential cleanings (houses & apartments)

  • Dusting furniture, décor, and reachable surfaces in living areas and bedrooms

  • Wiping tables, chairs, doors, doorknobs, light switches, and trim (spot cleaning)

  • Cleaning kitchen counters, appliance exteriors, and microwaves (inside and out)

  • Sanitizing sinks, faucets, tubs, showers, and toilets (light to moderate buildup)

  • Polishing mirrors and glass surfaces (fingerprints, smudges)

  • Vacuuming carpets and rugs; sweeping and mopping floors (accessible areas)

  • Emptying and disinfecting trash bins and re-lining liners

  • Light trash pickup and general tidying across all rooms​

• Airbnb and short-term rental turnovers

  • Dusting furniture, décor, and reachable surfaces throughout the unit

  • Wiping light switches, door handles, remotes, and other high-touch areas

  • Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, tubs, showers, and counters

  • Polishing mirrors, glass, and fixtures to remove fingerprints and smudges

  • Making beds with fresh linens and arranging pillows, blankets, and décor neatly

  • Cleaning kitchen counters, sinks, and appliance exteriors (microwave inside and out)

  • Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping all floors (accessible areas only)

  • Emptying trash and recycling; disinfecting liners and re-bagging

  • Restocking basic items and toiletries (if provided by host)

  • Final check to ensure every room looks clean, organized, and welcoming

• Move In / Move Out Cleaning​

  • Dusting and wiping all reachable surfaces, ledges, baseboards, doors, and trim

  • Cleaning vents, light fixtures, ceiling fans, and reachable window sills

  • Vacuuming carpets/rugs; sweeping and mopping all hard floors

  • Wiping doors, doorknobs, light switches, and stair railings

  • Cleaning closets, shelving, and rods inside and out

  • Scrubbing and disinfecting toilets, tubs, showers, sinks, and faucets

  • Cleaning and polishing mirrors, fixtures, and bathroom hardware

  • Cleaning kitchen cabinets and drawers (inside and out)

  • Wiping and sanitizing countertops, backsplash, and sinks

  • Cleaning appliance interiors and exteriors (fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher)

  • Bagging and removing small household trash as needed

Work Standards & Job Documentation

​

All contractors are required to follow detailed service checklists and job instructions provided for each cleaning to ensure consistency and quality across all services.

Before starting and after completing every job, contractors must submit clear photos and short videos documenting the condition of the property and completed work. This documentation is required for quality assurance, service verification, and contractor protection.

Failure to follow checklists, instructions, or submit required documentation may impact future job assignments.

As an independent contractor (1099), you’ll have flexibility to accept jobs that fit your schedule. Contractors must:

​

• Provide their own cleaning supplies and equipment (vacuum, mop, etc.)

• Have reliable transportation to carry supplies to and from jobs

• Be comfortable performing both standard cleanings and extra services (inside ovens/refrigerators, baseboards, blinds, interior windows, garages, basements, attics, balconies, etc.)
